Biology Discovery

On October 29, 2007, Andy McIntosh observed the bombardier beetle and found that it's way of releasing liquid could be very useful. The beetle heats its liquids above boiling point and then keeps it under pressure and releases it at the target at 500 times per second. This way of releasing liquids can create new fire extinguishers that are more efficient and ways of injecting medical things into humans without needles. Extinguishers use gases that are harmful to the environment. This new way of extinguishing and injecting does not harm the environment. Discovery Channel
